9月16日是马来西亚日，很多人都好像忘记了。

回想起46年前，马来亚，沙巴与砂劳越共同成立马来西亚的时候，这个国家是充满希望的。那个时候，马来亚才刚独立，朝气蓬勃，与沙巴，砂劳越共同组织马来西亚壮大了整个国家的气势。46年后的今天，年轻一代的我们必须回顾与反思独立，成立马来西亚的意义。

我们的先贤为了争取独立，立下了不少功劳。从翁嘉法，敦姑阿都拉曼，陈帧禄到陈平等左派的领袖都为争取独立牺牲了不少。年轻一代的马来西亚人必须感激这些先贤的贡献。然而，46年后的今天，马来西亚面对的不再是对抗殖民主义，争取独立。我们也在消除贫穷，发展国家方面有一定的进展。

46年后的今天，我们这一代面对的挑战是国家机制日渐败坏。从教育制度到司法制度，从警察到反贪委员会，我们可以看到腐化的现象。马来亚独立52年，马来西亚成立46年后，我们失去的，反而是英国人留给我们的良好国家机制。

先看看我们的教育制度吧。我们的中小学陪育出来的毕业生，很多都不懂母语外的语言，无法以英文沟通。数学科学有限公司，读写算都成问题。大学毕业生，也是幼稚园的大专生，没有自立的能力，没有创意，许多人没有一技之长，毕业就是失业。无怪，大学国际排行榜一直下跌。

我们的司法制度，在80年代初 是备受国际尊敬的，现在法官都可以被收买。我有亲身经历，还记得VK 林甘吗？皇家调查委员会报告书出炉 后2年，我们还看到林甘，陈志远，阿末法鲁斯逍遥法外。我们的警察现在已经无法对付罪案，罪案直线上升，他们只有摇头兴叹。反贪委员会现在沦为贪官的遥控器，目的只是对付民联领袖。

我们可以任由国家机制继续败坏下去吗？我们还有本钱任由它沉沦吗？

让我们在9月16日，马来西亚日从新启动改革的决心，从新打造马来西亚。

Mr. Huan Cheng Guan, someone I have not known personally hit back at me at a very personal way. That has lost my last little respect of him in political professionalism. Today NST quoted Huan: He (Sim) was still playing marbles when I joined politics.

 Yes, Mr. Huan, your are right, I was playing marbles when you started your career. But, you lost to our generation of young leaders in GE12 because of your arrogance.

 He is at this low point of his political career out of his own doing. Let me first recount his statements:

 On May 29, he was quoted in NST as saying “I am 99 percent sure of leaving (Gerakan).”

 On June 4th, The Star published “Gerakan Veep said to be planning to join PKR”.

 On June 14th, NST “Huan Cheng Guan Remains in Gerakan”.

 Today in MI, he said “I Still Love BN”

 From the first few days of gung-ho to now fizzling out, from 99 percent sure to now still loves BN, we can see a growing trend among BN rejects who adopted an approach best described in Chinese: 一哭，二闹，三求饶. (First cry foul, Secondly Outburst, Finally Pleading.)

  I must clarify that I have no problem with anyone joining PKR based on principle of justice, democracy and fighting for the poor. I am agreeable to Yusmadi and Datuk Zahrain’s argument on the principle of “Freedom of Association”.  The sad thing is that, while we are standing firm on our core beliefs, our opponents are taking advantage of our stand.

 We had these instances of Datuk Arif Shah and Chuah Soi Lek using the similar tactics of using PKR to bargain for better deals in their respective party. Now Huan Cheng Guan is again using this similar tactics. And what is Huan fighting for? Just a BN coordinator in Machang Bubok for his crony!  That really infuriates me.

 Of course, there are no shortage of good ex-BN men and women who joined PKR based on our fundamental beliefs of multracial politics, principles of justice and fight corruption. Datuk Zaid Ibrahim is a stelar example of these men and women, as well as Datuk Tan Yee Kiew and Dr. Tan Kee Kwong. I welcome them with open arms! We need more people like Dato Zaid and all. They bring in values, expertise, administrative experience and more importantly good principles to help the party grow.

 We also need more young people with idealism to join the party to fight for better future for ourselves as well as our future generations. I am now planning on membership drives among the younger generation in this respect. We need young people who has the energy and passion to clean up dirty politics by BN.

 The last thing the party need is taking in opportunist politician that will tarnish our image among the voters.

副首相那吉说，霹雳州变天不是国阵的错，议员跳槽是安华发起的。有的人甚至说安华根本不应该发动916变天，因果报应，国阵以彼之道还治其人之身，现在反而让霹雳跌入国阵手中。现在安华因该为这起事件负责任。这类论调似是而非，混绕视听，对事件没有深入探讨与分析，只能骗骗没有太多资讯的人民，但也让人民看到我们领袖思维逻辑简单。

如果大家还记得，916当天，安华开记者会亲自要求国会下议院议长召开国会特别会议，以让他提呈不信任动议。但是首相一口拒绝。然后，国会复会后，安华在提呈紧急动议，结果又被议长推翻。安华一次又一次的依照宪法程序促成变天，但是，国阵一次又一次的百般阻挠，导致变天被拖延了。民联的变天过程其实都沿用宪法斌与的条规，光明正大。

但是，反观国阵的变天手法，他们首先让议员失踪，再以百般理由如生病，背痛，向母亲拜年然后再派助理应付记者会等等不光明的手法逃避选民。波达区州议员更被骗上车去见那吉。接着，就传出五千万价码收买议员的新闻。这些都是不光明正大的手法。

国阵的正在的好戏就是践踏宪法程序。在霹雳州宪法第16条6，只有3种情况下，州务大臣会被革职。第一，州议会通过不信任动议。第二，大臣呈辞。第三，大臣宣布解散州议会。但是，在国阵的夺权过程中，这三种情况都没有出现。准的来说，这是一场政变。政变由副首相亲自部署，策划，执行。可怜的首相阿都拉好像局外人般，看这政变发生，丝毫不知所措。

那吉运用所有政府机关来对付民联州政府。他运用选举委员会拒绝承认3位州议员的辞职信。这是非常具争议性的。选举委员会的责任是根据议长的指示，不是法官鉴定辞职信是否有效。那吉接下来在苏丹没有委任新大臣前就指示州秘书变节，驱走尚在办公的行政议员，手法非常让人齿冷。

为什么那吉要犯众怒来进行这场惊天动地的政变？

那吉将会在短短的未来一个月成为第6任首相。自308后，国阵并没有改革的决心，一次又一次的失去民意的支持。从巴东埔到瓜丁补选，国阵原本占尽优势，但却一次又一次的输掉议席。最令他难堪的是他发觉他失去巫统的最大基层，马来票大量流失。与此同时，非马来人没有回流的迹象。

这对一个即将接任首相的那吉是非常大的打击。在首相阿都拉宣布退休后，那吉已经是国家幕后真正的领导人。他已经接任主导许多国家重大的决策，瓜丁补选其实是他全盘主动操盘。在他多番努力下，他还是无法扭转乾坤。这些连串打击对一个雄心勃勃的未来首相是严重的打击。

许多巫统的军阀对那吉领导的瓜丁败选彼有微言，他们更虎视眈眈的希望那吉犯错，以便进行逼宫，要重演那吉对付阿都拉的方式。那吉的未来第二号人物幕由丁，穆哈默等已经60岁了，他们没有耐心等候。所以处处想尽办法让那吉下台。在前有民联后有党内军阀下，那吉希望孤注一掷，把霹雳拿下，对党有个交代，顺便缓和党内的压力。

霹雳变天其实是那吉个人政治的豪赌，他不管巫统国阵，只为自己的政治前途博弈。

但那吉的致命伤是他走捷径，以不光明正大的发式夺权。他没有改革巫统的决心，还希望走回老路以高压的手段对付异议者。他继续运用政府机关为夺权工具，他甚至开始管制媒体，许多报馆主编已经开始接到通知，规范专栏作者。警方宣布取消所有政治讲座准证到局势平静为止。

2月4日笑嘻嘻的那吉万万没有想到人民的愤怒竟然是如此巨大。人算不如天算，竟然有一位国会议员病逝，补选即将在政治地震震央霹雳举行。临近的吉打州也有州议席补选。这可是那吉万万预料不到也万万不愿意的。

补选将会成为霹雳变天，那吉政治手段的公投。人民将会表态决定。

In less than 48 hours, the permatang pauh by-election will be in full swing. They called it “mother of all by-elections”.
So you can guess the intensity of this election.
 
I know many of you are concerned about the future of our country. We all agree that it is heading to the wrong direction and something has to be done to save it. The key lies in the up-coming permatang pauh by-election. After March 8 election, we managed to send multiracial pakatan rakyat to govern a few states. Finally the two party system is dawning. However, UMNO has proven itself to continue to be arrogant, corrupt and divisive as before.
 
We have to shape the future of the country by participating in this critical democratic process. The coming by-election will be critical. It is a the survival of pakatan rakyat. If Anwar didn’t make it, we will fall back to the dark ages. UMNO-BN is very well aware of that. They will use their 3M strategy-Money, Media, Machinery. Therefore, they will pour tens of millions into the campaign. They will use whatever means to character assasinate Anwar.
