We have made history on March 8, 2008! Thank you for voting for me and for believing in our message. I am humbled and honored by the overwhelming support. I promise to work hard for Penang and to put the people of all races in Penang as my priority. No one will be left behind.

hi mr sim! i’m from bayan baru and under your constituency. i voted for you and in fact had been voting PKR (or DAP) all along. i’m glad that you win. i heard from a friend that at a ceramah organised by wong mun hoe, he and all the others did so much character assassination of you, it made me feel so disgusted… and gave me more determination to see that BN did not win!

Your are most welcome! I was at the ceramah with DSAI in Sungai Ara and that was the first time I got to meet the DUN candidate (you) for Pantai Jerjak. Your sharing on the people living in poverty in Penang touched my heart and earned my respect.
I vote in Pantai Jerjak but am now staying in Air Putih constituency. LOL, you have two (lucia and I) of Penang most vocal bloggers watching every moves. All the best and we are behind you! If you need any bloggers power, don’t hesitate to contact us.

It’s truly amazing. Knew that you have been super busy for the election, so hopefully now you and Aily could take a mini break to enjoy what you deserved..
At SweeKuang’s wedding last Saturday, we all were super excited knowing that you have won. I was speechless. Just want to let you know that you have inspired so so many friends here at US. You showed us it could be done, and you just did it!!!
And indeed, like what onion said, you have just re-iterated with bold statement that: Malaysia has hope, and let’s just make it happen!

Hi Sim:
Congrats and way to go! I am from Taman Sri Nibong and there is a lot of work to be done to fill in the vacuum left by Mun Hoe. Let us know what help you need from us to make this transition easier. We undertsand you are all new and there is alot to learn and do at the same time.

Hi, congrats to you. Though I stayed and voted in Bagan, I called up everyone I know canvassing votes for you. Most of the people asked me, Sim who? I told them Sim of CLHS and came back from US to represent the rakyat! Worth every effort now that you are the wakil rakyat.
